Honolua Map- Overall Conditions: Calm winds, very small surf. Looks like a nice day at the bay. Sunny skies too!
- Surf: 0-1ft.
- Weather: Similar to North Bays.

Notes: Rocky shoreline sheltered bay. Use the Honolua Lookout before the bay to check conditions. The water should be blue and you should be able to see the reef. If the water looks “milky” or green the snorkeling will not be good. If there are surfers on the north side of the bay the snorkeling conditions are probably poor or even dangerous. If it has been raining the river empties brown, muddy water into the bay and you should definitely stay out of the water.

Sheraton Black Rock, Airport-Kahekili Beach- Overall Conditions: Low winds and surf this morning. Looks like a nice day in Ka’anapali.

- Surf: 0-1 ft.
- Weather: Variable winds less than 5 kt becoming ENE 6 to 11 kt in the afternoon. Scattered showers after noon.
- Notes: Don’t snorkel directly under Black Rock, you don’t want to get jumped on. Turtles as usual. Don’t forget they are protected so give them space but enjoy. If you venture around Black Rock stay close to shore. Watch for surge along the rocks.

Black Rock, Kahekili-Airport Beach- Overall Conditions: Very low today. Should be really nice in this area.
- Weather: Similar to South Maui.
- Notes: Give the turtles some space and don’t get your car stuck in the sand. There is a sand channel that goes through the reef across the highway from the Mile Marker 14 post that is the easiest place to swim out.

Scattered showers after noon. Mostly sunny, with a high near 85. North northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light and variable in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
- Notes: Winds may fill in later, always best to get out early.
