Polo Beach is an enjoyable place to spend an afternoon. You’ll find a mix of tourists and locals having fun in the water – snorkeling, swimming, and even boogie boarding when the waves are right! The far right end of this sandy stretch is where all the snorkeling happens. A small reef there is home to several different fishes, and sometimes a sea turtle or two will glide in to visit.

When you are gazing at Maui’s gorgeous ocean from Polo Beach, the Fairmont Kea Lani Hotel is just behind you. The staff there sets up umbrellas and beach chairs along the beach for their guests. If you are not staying in this hotel, there is still plenty of sand to share, and we’d be happy to rent out some beach umbrellas and chairs to keep you cool and comfortable. Remember to rent your snorkel gear from us, as well. That way, you needn’t carry anything home but your underwater memories!

There is plenty of space for digging in the sand, running around, and having a picnic. We trust you’ll have an amazing time on Polo Beach!
