10Honolua Bay
Honolua Map- Overall Conditions Another great day in Maui Nei!
- Surf: 0-1.
- Weather: Scattered showers, mainly before noon. Mostly sunny, with a high near 84. Breezy, with an east wind 16 to 21 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
-
Notes: Rocky shoreline sheltered bay. Use the Honolua Lookout before the bay to check conditions. The water should be blue and you should be able to see the reef. If the water looks “milky” or green the snorkeling will not be good. If there are surfers on the north side of the bay the snorkeling conditions are probably poor or even dangerous. If it has been raining the river empties brown, muddy water into the bay and you should definitely stay out of the water.
