And because of how long biking around West Maui is, there’s no need to rush through everything since you have plenty of time! Just get started early in the morning and plan on ending when the sun goes down at night…or even camping out somewhere if possible.

How Long Does It Take To Bike Around West Maui?

It takes about three hours to bike around the West Maui Loop if you aren’t stopping for photos or taking breaks. It’s best to get an early start though. Think around six in the morning! This way, when it gets hot during the day (which can happen anywhere from nine until two), you won’t be tempted to stop riding and instead make sure that every minute counts.

When starting at our Lahaina location you don’t end up getting back there until around seven-thirty. This is a wonderful opportunity to catch a gorgeous sunset.

The Best Time Of Year To Bike The West Maui Loop

The best times of year to go biking around West Maui are from September until May. This is because the weather during this time isn’t as hot and humid, making it much more bearable for those who aren’t used to heat-related activities! The only downside is that there can be a lot of rain at any point in time during these months so if you want to avoid getting caught up in some showers, then try taking your journey between June through August instead.
