As you may have guessed, Wailea Beach is between the ocean and the Grand Wailea Resort. This makes the beach feel extra fancy, even if you are not staying at the unparalleled resort yourself. There are umbrellas and lounge chairs creating nice shady enclaves, and a gorgeous, well-maintained flagstone path just off the sand. You’ll also find an extra foot-rinsing shower in addition to the regular outdoor showers. If you are spending time on the beach in the evening, you may be able to hear the drums of the Grand Wailea’s Honua’ula Luau, inviting you to dance along the torchlit path!

In the daytime, Wailea Beach is a lovely place to take in views of Kaho’olawe and Molokini Crater. If you love snorkeling, you’ll have fun exploring off Wailea Beach. There are several lava rock formations and many satellite reefs in this area. The ocean is a big place, and you never know exactly what you may see. When whale season is in full swing, there is a good chance you will catch a glimpse of humpbacks splashing, miles offshore!

We trust that you will have a wonderful time at Wailea Beach, whether you’re lounging, swimming, or dancing. Be whale!
