Directions & Parking: From Lihue, head west on Highway 50 (Kaumualii Highway), and turn left onto Highway 520/Maluhia Road. Drive through Koloa Town, turn right onto Koloa Road, and take a quick left onto Poipu Road. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Lawai Road. (The sign you want at the roundabout says “Spouting Horn.”)
Very soon, the coast will be on your left, and you will be driving parallel to it. In another moment, when you see the Beach House Restaurant on your left, look for parking on the street. This is Prince Kuhio’s (also called Lawai Beach)! After parking, grab your snorkel gear, and head across the street to this tiny beach. If you need to rent gear or ask questions, you can do both at Boss Frog’s. Our small shop is just up the stairs and to the right of the restaurant.
