Directions & Parking: Head north on Highway 56 (Kuhio Highway) until it becomes Highway 560 – a simply gorgeous drive through every shade of green plant imaginable! Pass Princeville and Hanalei Bay, then drive a few more miles until you see the lifeguard tower at Haena Beach Park. Find a parking space on the ocean side of the road in the dirt, keeping in mind it can be very muddy. The dry cave is right behind you, while the wet cave is about a mile north. For great summer snorkeling at Tunnels, walk south along the beach for a mile, and then jump in! (Well, talk to the lifeguards at Haena first to make sure it’s safe to jump in. If they say yes, go for it!) You can spend a day at Haena and Tunnels!
