9Honolua Bay
Honolua Map- Overall Conditions: Some runoff coming into the bay this morning causing less visibility near the shoreline. Should clear up later today.
- Surf: 1-2ft.
- Weather: Isolated showers. Mostly sunny, with a high near 82. Breezy, with an east wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
-
Notes: Rocky shoreline sheltered bay. Use the Honolua Lookout before the bay to check conditions. The water should be blue and you should be able to see the reef. If the water looks “milky” or green the snorkeling will not be good. If there are surfers on the north side of the bay the snorkeling conditions are probably poor or even dangerous. If it has been raining the river empties brown, muddy water into the bay and you should definitely stay out of the water.

6Ka'anapali Beach
Sheraton Black Rock, Airport-Kahekili Beach- Overall Conditions: Low winds and surf this morning. Looks like Black Rock or Airport Beach would be good choices in Ka’anapali.
- Webcam: . Sheraton. Whaler Condos
- Surf: 0-1 ft.
- Weather: Sunny, with a high near 86. Light east southeast wind becoming east northeast 9 to 14 mph in the afternoon.
- Notes: Don’t snorkel directly under Black Rock, you don’t want to get jumped on. Turtles as usual. Don’t forget they are protected so give them space but enjoy. If you venture around Black Rock stay close to shore. Watch for surge along the rocks.

9Olowalu Mile Marker 14
Black Rock, Kahekili-Airport Beach- Overall Conditions: Lower wind and surf today in this area.
- Weather: Similar to South Maui.
- Notes: Give the turtles some space and don’t get your car stuck in the sand. There is a sand channel that goes through the reef across the highway from the Mile Marker 14 post that is the easiest place to swim out.
