5Honolua Bay
Honolua Map- Overall Conditions: Strong winds. Large surf conditions may be present. Head south for the best conditions.
- Surf: 1-3 ft.
- Weather: Similar to North Bays.
-
Notes: Rocky shoreline sheltered bay. Use the Honolua Lookout before the bay to check conditions. The water should be blue and you should be able to see the reef. If the water looks “milky” or green the snorkeling will not be good. If there are surfers on the north side of the bay the snorkeling conditions are probably poor or even dangerous. If it has been raining the river empties brown, muddy water into the bay and you should definitely stay out of the water.

Black Rock, Kahekili-Airport Beach- Overall Conditions: Small waves are rolling in.
- Weather: NNE wind 5 to 13 kt. Sunny.
