4Honolua Bay
Honolua Map- Overall Conditions: The north swell is predicted to decrease today into tomorrow. Calm winds this morning. Currently lots of water movement with strong surge along the sandy beaches and coastal rocks.
- Surf: 3-4 ft.
- Weather: Similar to North Bays.
-
Notes: Rocky shoreline sheltered bay. Use the Honolua Lookout before the bay to check conditions. The water should be blue and you should be able to see the reef. If the water looks “milky” or green the snorkeling will not be good. If there are surfers on the north side of the bay the snorkeling conditions are probably poor or even dangerous. If it has been raining the river empties brown, muddy water into the bay and you should definitely stay out of the water.

3Ka'anapali Beach
Sheraton Black Rock, Airport-Kahekili Beach- Overall Conditions: The Kona winds have subsided. We are back to normal NE winds which are calm this morning. We are getting a little bit of the north swell but not too much. Water visibility may be a little decreased but overall it should be nice.
- Webcam: Whaler Condos Sheraton
- Surf: 2-3 ft.
- Weather: ENE wind 5 to 11 kt. Scattered showers, with thunderstorms also possible after noon. Widespread haze.
- Notes: Don’t snorkel directly under Black Rock, you don’t want to get jumped on. Turtles as usual. Don’t forget they are protected so give them space but enjoy. If you venture around Black Rock stay close to shore. Watch for surge along the rocks.

- Weather: Mostly sunny, with a high near 85. North wind 6 to 9 mph.
