5Honolua Bay
Honolua Map- Overall Conditions: Large swell coming from the north today. Better to head south today to snorkel.
- Surf: 4-6 ft.
- Weather: Partly sunny, with a high near 79. East northeast wind 5 to 10 mph.
-
Notes: Rocky shoreline sheltered bay. Use the Honolua Lookout before the bay to check conditions. The water should be blue and you should be able to see the reef. If the water looks “milky” or green the snorkeling will not be good. If there are surfers on the north side of the bay the snorkeling conditions are probably poor or even dangerous. If it has been raining the river empties brown, muddy water into the bay and you should definitely stay out of the water.

3Ka'anapali Beach
Sheraton Black Rock, Airport-Kahekili Beach- Overall Conditions: North swell causing some visibility issues. South side of Black Rock looks ok but stay close to shore. Currents are very strong out at the point.
- Webcam: Whaler condo. Sheraton
- Surf: 1-2 ft.
- Weather: Partly sunny, with a high near 81. Calm wind becoming east northeast around 5 mph in the afternoon.
- Notes: Don’t snorkel directly under Black Rock, you don’t want to get jumped on. Turtles as usual. Don’t forget they are protected so give them space but enjoy. If you venture around Black Rock stay close to shore. Watch for surge along the rocks.

Black Rock, Kahekili-Airport Beach- Overall Conditions: Low surf in this location. Looks really nice this morning.
- Weather: Mostly sunny, with a high near 80. Calm wind.
- Notes: Give the turtles some space and don’t get your car stuck in the sand. There is a sand channel that goes through the reef across the highway from the Mile Marker 14 post that is the easiest place to swim out.
