7Honolua Bay
Honolua Map- Overall Conditions: Some smaller waves coming into the bay this morning. Be aware as you’re getting in and out off the rocks.
- Surf: 1-3ft.
- Weather: Similar to Upper West Bays
-
Notes: Rocky shoreline sheltered bay. Use the Honolua Lookout before the bay to check conditions. The water should be blue and you should be able to see the reef. If the water looks “milky” or green the snorkeling will not be good. If there are surfers on the north side of the bay the snorkeling conditions are probably poor or even dangerous. If it has been raining the river empties brown, muddy water into the bay and you should definitely stay out of the water.

6Ka'anapali Beach
Sheraton Black Rock, Airport-Kahekili Beach- Overall Conditions: Black Rock looks really nice this morning. Stronger currents further out so stay close to shore.

- Surf: 0-2 ft.
- Weather: Mostly sunny, with a high near 82. Calm wind becoming east around 6 mph in the afternoon.
- Notes: Don’t snorkel directly under Black Rock, you don’t want to get jumped on. Turtles as usual. Don’t forget they are protected so give them space but enjoy. If you venture around Black Rock stay close to shore. Watch for surge along the rocks.

8Olowalu Mile Marker 14
Black Rock, Kahekili-Airport Beach- Overall Conditions: Very nice this morning in this area. Very low wind and surf.
- Weather: Mostly sunny, with a high near 82. Light and variable wind.
- Notes: Give the turtles some space and don’t get your car stuck in the sand. There is a sand channel that goes through the reef across the highway from the Mile Marker 14 post that is the easiest place to swim out.
