Upper Westside Protected Bays

Napili, Kapalua, Honolua
  • Calm winds this morning. Napili Bay has increased wave action over yesterday. The swell has picked up a bit. Inside Honolua Bay may still be nice. Park at the lookout check for waves and calm conditions inside the bay before you park and walk down to the bay. Possible 8 at Honolua Bay.

  • Conditions may vary amongst the different bays.
  • Sunny, with a high near 81. Breezy, with an east northeast wind around 22 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph.

Sheraton Black Rock, Airport-Kahekili Beach
  • Light winds. North swell has picked up a bit and a small south swell is still active. Shoreline around Black Rock looks relatively calm but there is some shore break. Watch for surge around the rocks.

  • Turtles as usual. Don’t forget they are protected so give them space but enjoy.

  • Don’t get your car stuck in the sand and be sure to park completely off the highway!
