6Honolua Bay
Honolua Map- Overall Conditions: Similar to the north bays. Small surf. Calm winds. Inside the bay may be pretty nice with a moderate decrease in water clarity.
- Surf: 2-3 ft.
- Weather: Similar to North Bays
-
Notes: Rocky shoreline sheltered bay. Use the Honolua Lookout before the bay to check conditions. The water should be blue and you should be able to see the reef. If the water looks “milky” or green the snorkeling will not be good. If there are surfers on the north side of the bay the snorkeling conditions are probably poor or even dangerous. If it has been raining the river empties brown, muddy water into the bay and you should definitely stay out of the water.

6Ka'anapali Beach
Sheraton Black Rock, Airport-Kahekili Beach- Overall Conditions: Kaanapali is not getting much wrap around from the north swell yet. Still looks pretty calm this morning. Get out there! Calm winds.
- Webcam: Whaler Condos Sheraton
- Surf: 1-3 ft.
- Weather: Variable winds 5 kt or less. Widespread haze.
- Notes: Don’t snorkel directly under Black Rock, you don’t want to get jumped on. Turtles as usual. Don’t forget they are protected so give them space but enjoy. If you venture around Black Rock stay close to shore. Watch for surge along the rocks.

Black Rock, Kahekili-Airport Beach- Overall Conditions: Calm winds. Small surf.
- Weather: Sunny, with a high near 79. Calm wind becoming west southwest 5 to 7 mph.
- Notes: Give the turtles some space and don’t get your car stuck in the sand. There is a sand channel that goes through the reef across the highway from the Mile Marker 14 post that is the easiest place to swim out.
