8Honolua Bay
Honolua Map- Overall Conditions: Looks nice in the bay this morning. Be aware of the occasional ocean surge while getting in at out of the water.
- Surf: 1-3ft.
- Weather: Similar to Upper West Bays
-
Notes: Rocky shoreline sheltered bay. Use the Honolua Lookout before the bay to check conditions. The water should be blue and you should be able to see the reef. If the water looks “milky” or green the snorkeling will not be good. If there are surfers on the north side of the bay the snorkeling conditions are probably poor or even dangerous. If it has been raining the river empties brown, muddy water into the bay and you should definitely stay out of the water.

8Ka'anapali Beach
Sheraton Black Rock, Airport-Kahekili Beach- Overall Conditions: Looks really nice this morning in this area. Calmer winds and surf. Currents are stronger further out so better to stay close to shore.
- Webcam: Whaler Condos Sheraton
- Surf: 1-2 ft.
- Weather: Partly sunny, with a high near 82. East northeast wind 8 to 11 mph.
- Notes: Don’t snorkel directly under Black Rock, you don’t want to get jumped on. Turtles as usual. Don’t forget they are protected so give them space but enjoy. If you venture around Black Rock stay close to shore. Watch for surge along the rocks.

9Olowalu Mile Marker 14
Black Rock, Kahekili-Airport Beach- Overall Conditions: Similar to the last few days. Small to Medium swell coming in causing decreased visibility in the area.
- Weather: Partly sunny, with a high near 82. Northeast wind 5 to 10 mph.
- Notes: Give the turtles some space and don’t get your car stuck in the sand. There is a sand channel that goes through the reef across the highway from the Mile Marker 14 post that is the easiest place to swim out.
